Whosah to Perform April 21

Date Posted: April 9, 2018 Author: Steve Reed

Musical group Whosah will perform on Saturday, April 21, at 8 p.m. in Raney Dining Room on the Cottey College campus.

Known for their creative blend of unique sound and musical versatility, Whosah balances its original material with cover content ranging anywhere between Ben E. King and Beyoncé. With a sound described as a dance-pop twist on Walk the Moon and The 1975, Whosah’s newest release “Work” is centered on an optimistic and spunky attitude, savoring the conflict between finding purpose in the daily routine and longing for a life beyond the known. Whosah’s most recent record has been featured on popular TV like Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmitt, MTV’s Snookie & JWoww, and Target’s Back-to-School campaign.
Tickets for Whosah are $5 for adults and $4 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the evening of the performance.

Raney Dining Room is located in the lower level of Robertson Hall on the southeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri. Parking is available in the lot immediately behind Robertson Hall which is accessible off of Tower Street.
