At Cottey College, we take a holistic approach to career development by not only providing an outstanding education within the classroom, but by offering opportunities to apply that knowledge in a practical, supervised work setting, as well. This is accomplished through internships, undergraduate research, study abroad, and service-learning. These opportunities will assist you throughout your college career to build a resume reflecting both knowledge and experience

Career services offered to Cottey students include self-directed career assessments, career classes, networking events, career fairs on and off campus, a professional development closet, mock interviews, individual consultation on resumes and cover letters, and individual career counseling. Students that take advantage of the career services available to them at Cottey College attract employers with higher paying positions. Also, for students wishing to further their education in graduate school, professional skills and career experience create a more sought after candidate.
