The Impact of Hurricane Katrina from an Environmental and Petrochemical Perspective

The symposium will consist of invited and unsolicited talks concerning the immediate and long-term effects of the floodwater contaminants to the water systems and soils of New Orleans. We also encourage presentations on the economic effects of Hurricane Katrina to the chemical companies in Louisiana and other chemical-related industries. The symposium will be jointly run with the ENVIR Division and YCC.
