Background:

Day & Night Communications is a small e-business based on Technical Writing.  Technical Writing is a special skill that I plan on offering to other businesses and organizations to ease their company hassles.  By doing so, I will be giving the businesses extra time and effort to focus on other obligations and community services.

Day & Night communications is a sole-proprietorship, service business working in a business-to-business environment. I will receive the required information left by voicemail/email/fax and produce such documents as: memos, balance sheets, budgets, requests, user manuals, brochures, thank yous, codes of conduct, and other related documents. If the business chooses, they can have their business related documents forwarded to F&M Communications email.

The idea for a technical writing online business was established from suggestion and concluded from research.  The market is in need of a technical writer. Many businesses don't have the time, or the work force to type needed documents everyday, it is often laid upon an employee who may not have the necessary skill in the field.

By starting a Technical Writing business, I propose to start the marketing field of Technical Writing and watch other companies begin to compete over time. I personally believe that technical writers will begin to market themselves if they see someone do it successfully, that's where Day & Night Communications comes in.

I believe Day & Night Communications will be successful at first with small businesses starting out because they are more likely to need help right-a-way.  Big businesses will see how well it works and start hiring Technical Writers and Technical Writing businesses to do what they consider tedious and laborious tasks. Day & Night Communications being the first business to establish technical writing will be the most trusted and therefore highly successful.
