Vice President for Administration and Finance

Cottey College, a leading private liberal arts college for women, invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for an adjunct faculty member to teach Introduction to Physics and General Physics I and II, for the 2013-2014 academic year. We are looking for an individual who is able to teach Introduction to Physics and the calculus-based Physics course sequence, including lecture and lab sections for these courses. Cottey College is seeking to fill the position of counselor. The
qualified applicant will possess a master's degree and Missouri
licensure in counseling, psychology, or social work.
Responsibilities include providing short-term therapy to
individuals and groups, crisis intervention, and program

Public Information Assistant

Job Summary: Under general supervision of the director of public information, the assistant performs a variety of complex, responsible, and confidential duties requiring a thorough knowledge of policies and procedures, and performs related work as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs typesetting and proofreading assignments to provide economical and professional publications.
- Composes routine publications including news releases, programs, brochures, and the Chronicle.
- Receives and routes correspondence.
- Screens calls, visitors, and refers inquiries as appropriate.
- Responds to telephone and e-mail inquiries not requiring immediate attention of the director.
- Maintains records of information including print projects, billing reports for in-house and out-of -house services, correspondence, and photos.
- Supervises student worker.
- Assists and participates in the departmental programs, including by not limited to, Founder's Day, Vacation College, summer camps, and Seminar.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to use correct English usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Skilled in proofreading techniques.
- Skilled in computer usage and proficient in software for word processing, spreadsheet and data base management (literacy with all Word products preferred).

- High school graduate, supplemented by specialized secretarial courses.
- Two years of responsible secretarial and clerical experience.

Half Time Hall Director
Cottey College is seeking a female director for an all female student residence hall commencing August 1, 2013. This is a 9-½ month, half-time position with primary commitment evenings and weekends. Some daytime hours needed. Position requires excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and supervisory capabilities.
