Controller

Cottey College is seeking a controller in the business office. This position directs the collection, verification, recording, and processing of financial transactions and documents as required for maintaining payroll, accounts payable, purchase orders, accounts receivable, and financial statements. Minimum requirements include: bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with four years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, two of which were in supervisory capacity. MBA and/or CPA certification preferred. Coordinator for International Education

Cottey College, a leading private liberal arts and sciences college for women, seeks a full-time coordinator for international education. Duties include providing support for study abroad and faculty exchange programs as well as providing support for international students in their transition to Cottey and the U.S. This is a twelve-month position, reporting to the vice president for academic affairs. The successful candidate will have a baccalaureate degree (master’s preferred) with related experience, and will serve as PDSO for the college. The candidate MUST have some experience with educating and informing international students about CPT and OPT requirements and managing SEVIS for matriculated international students. Assistant Softball Coach

Cottey College is seeking an assistant Softball Coach. This position reports to the head coach, the athletic director, and the vice president for student life. Under general direction of the Head Coach, performs a wide range of difficult-to-complex coaching and administrative activities related to the development and implementation of a competitive collegiate program. This includes, but is not limited to assisting the head coach in all phases of the program in compliance with the mission of the college and the NJCAA rules and regulations. Effective communication skills include handling emotional situations well along with more traditional skills such as word processing, computer skills, financial aptitude, and the ability to work well with both internal and external constituents. Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Administration, or related fields from an accredited college or university and three years’ softball coaching experience and recruiting are required. Assistant Technical Director/Scene Shop Foreperson

Cottey College is seeking an Assistant Technical Director/Scene Shop Foreperson for the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. This facility has two performance venues (a 150-seat recital hall, and a 498-seat auditorium) that serve as a space for the theatre, music, and dance departments on campus as well as a wide range of other users, both internal and external to the College. The Assistant Technical Director/Shop Foreman is a half-time, 12 month position and reports to the Technical Director. This position will have responsibilities associated with the smooth operation of all concerts, lectures, performances, and other programs in the Performing Arts Center.

Cottey College has an opening for an Administrative Assistant in the Serenbetz Institute. Maintenance Technician

Full-time, 12 month position. Skilled and semiskilled work in maintenance and repair of general equipment, plumbing, communications, heating and cooling systems, security control and electrical distribution systems. Electrical and PLC experience preferred. Qualified applicants should have high school diploma or equivalent.
