Visit Campus

Seeing is Believing!

Why is coming to "C" for Yourself a great way to get to know Cottey? Because you get to meet and be part of our amazing community of students, faculty, and staff; ask all the questions you want about where a Cottey education can take you; and literally live for a day (and night) like a Cottey student - visit classrooms, eat in the dining room (our food is awesome), and spend the night in one of our suites. There are three types of visits you can schedule:

1. Individual day/night visit

In the fall and spring, we host a series of special on-campus visit days for you and your parents. If those dates aren't convenient for you, schedule your own personal visit! While you're here you'll get to talk to current students and see the campus. We can set up your tour, class session, a meal in the dining room, and even an overnight stay if you like ($15 overnight fee). You'll leave here with a real sense of what Cottey is like and all of the information you need to make a decision.

Call us at 1-888-5-COTTEY (1-888-526-8839) or e-mail us at enrollmgt@cottey.edu and we'll help you plan your visit.

2. "C" for Yourself! weekend

If you have the time, then let us recommend Cottey's "C" for Yourself! Weekend. This is how you'll really know what it is like to be at Cottey 24/7. You'll spend two nights (Friday & Saturday) in one of our suites, meet with faculty and current students who share your academic interests, experience our state-of-the-art facilities up close, and get the latest information about admission, financial aid and transferring. If you're coming from Kansas City, our shuttle will pick you up at the airport at 4 p.m. on Friday and drop you back at the airport at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Please note: there is a shuttle fee for each person. Contact our office for more information.

A few things to note:
In order to stay overnight in a Cottey residence hall, you must be a junior or senior in high school or be at least 16 years of age. You'll also be required to submit an on-campus release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Fees:
$30 registration fee (student only)
$35 shuttle per person (Cottey shuttle service)

3. Show Me Cottey

Show Me Cottey is an opportunity for a prospective student to spend a Friday morning visiting classes, touring campus and interacting with current students, with the option of an overnight stay on Thursday night. It is a quick visit for those who may be pressed for time, offering an individualized look into Cottey life.

A few things to note: In order to stay overnight in a Cottey residence hall, you must be a junior or senior in high school or be at least 16 years of age. You'll also be required to submit an on-campus release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Fees:

$15 registration fee (student only)

Celebration of Achievement

If you've been accepted to Cottey and are a recipient of one of our top three academic scholarships, congratulations! We've tailored a special, invitation only, on-campus weekend for you and your parents/guests that celebrates your academic achievements to date. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and conclude with Sunday brunch. You'll spend two nights in our residence halls as the guest of a Cottey student. Then, during the course of the weekend you and your parents and/or guests take part in an interactive campus tour and join in discussions about the benefits of attending a women's college, the art and science of leadership, and the connection between the liberal arts and careers.
