COTTEY HOSTS BODY IMAGE PROJECT

The Body Image Project will be presented by artist/lecturer, Larry Kirkwood at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, in the Missouri Recital Hall on the Cottey College campus.

This project originated in 1993 and deals with the reality of our outside appearance. It explores prejudices such as sexism, racism, and ageism. Kirkwood has toured college campuses nationwide. His exhibit will be in the Conway Student Art Gallery from September 30 thru October 2. This event is sponsored by the Counseling Office and is open to the campus and community free of charge.

The Recital Hall is inside the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada. The Conway Student Art Gallery is inside the Rubie Burton Academic Center on the southwest corner of Austin and Chestnut streets.
