COTTEY DEP'T OF THEATRE PRESENTS A VOICE OF MY OWN OCT. 3 & 4
The Cottey College Department of Theatre will present its first play of the season, A Voice of My Own. The performances will be on Friday and
Saturday, October 3 and 4, at 8 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts.
This college play was originally developed for John Houseman's Acting Company in 1979. Women writers throughout history tell their part of the
collective story of the female journey through the literary world as women develop not only a recognizable literary voice but a voice strong enough to
be heard throughout the world. Directed by Rusalyn Andrews.
Tickets for A Voice of My Own are $4 for adults and $3 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the evenings
of the performances.
The Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
