HIT THE HIGHWAY FOR HAITI 5K TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 1
The Cottey College Phi Theta Kappa chapter has organized a 5K walk/run in support of a Haitian orphanage. The event will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, at the Cottey College Center for the Arts.
Hit the Highway for Haiti is a 5K fun walk/run to benefit the Bresna Orphanage in Haiti. The money raised through this run will help bring clean water, vitamins, fruit, school supplies, clothing and medicine to these children. Entry fee is $8.00 and donations to the cause are warmly welcomed.
Entry forms can be printed off at www.cottey.edu/home/comerun.pdf or may be picked up at Cottey College's Main Hall or the Osage Prairie YMCA in Nevada. Please mail entry forms to Melissa Kristovich at 1000 W. Austin, Nevada, MO 64772 or bring them to the race. Checks should be made payable to Phi Theta Kappa.
Check in and registration begins at 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 1.
The Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada.
