SLAM POET SONYA RENEE TO PERFORM AT COTTEY NOV. 5

Slam poet Sonya Renee will perform in Cottey College's Raney Dining Room on Thursday, November 5, at 8 p.m.

This HBO Def Poet is a national and international poetry slam champion with dynamic poetry covering a vast array of topics, but her true passion is advocating women's issues and sexual education. Her performances are blunt, raw, and poignant.

Tickets for Sonya Renee are $5 for adults and $4 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the day of the show.

Raney Dining Room is located in the lower level of Robertson Hall on the southeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri. Parking is available in the lot immediately south of Robertson, which is accessible off of Tower Street. Enter Robertson Hall through the main doors on the east side of the building.
