RACHEL LOY TO PERFORM AT COTTEY ON FEB. 18

Singer-songwriter Rachel Loy will perform at Cottey College on Thursday, February 18, at 8 p.m. in Raney Dining Room.

Hard to pin down, and hard to forget, Rachel Loy has always had it both ways: she's a sweet, petite blonde who sings heartrending ballads with an aching vulnerability, and she drives her electric bass like it's a pack of pit bulls. She works incredibly hard, but she makes it look easy. She rode the fleeting fame train with a major-label, Billboard-charted hit single at the ripe old age of 19, and now, three years after making her mark, she's ready to be discovered-again.

Tickets for Rachel Loy are $5 for adults and $4 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets may be purchased at the door the night of the show.

Raney Dining Room is in the lower level of Robertson Hall on the southeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri. Parking is available in the lot immediately south of Robertson and is accessible off of Tower Street.
