Professor Michael Denison
Michael Denison, Assistant Professor of Theatre and Speech, teaches Acting, Elementary Stagecraft, Introduction to Theater, Twentieth Century Theater, Fundamentals of Speech, Theater production.
Mr. Denison taught theatre, film, and speech classes for the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok and the University of Maryland's European and Asian divisions, mostly in Germany and Japan. In addition to teaching university level courses all over the world, he has worked in professional theatre, television, radio and virtual reality production. Mr. Denison has spent over half his life outside of the United States. While in Thailand, he was the local casting director for the Academy Award-winning film The Deer Hunter. In addition to teaching theatre and speech classes, Mr. Denison serves as the technical director of Cottey College theatre.
