Admission
Acceptance to Cottey is based on prior performance, academic aptitude and likelihood for success. Qualified applicants are accepted until the College's limited enrollment is reached. Early application is recommended. To receive an application, you may either:

International Students
All international students must complete the International Application for Admission, even if currently living inside the United States. Download and print a PDF format of the international application. The international application may either be mailed or faxed to Cottey. The fax number is 417-667-8103. Cost
The annual cost for the 2009-2010 year is $20,300. This includes tuition, room and board and all fees.
Financial Aid
Approximately 97 percent of the student body receives some form of need-based or merit-based aid. Assistance programs include P.E.O. and Cottey scholarships, grants, campus employment, and loans. To apply via the mail, please complete the following steps:
- Submit your application for admission and essay, along with a $40 nonrefundable application fee.
- Have an official copy of your high school transcript (showing at least six semesters of course work) sent directly to our Office of Enrollment Management.
- Arrange to have an official report of your ACT or SAT scores sent to Cottey. These may be included on your high school transcript.
If a student has a high school grade point average of at least 2.6 (as calculated by the Office of Enrollment Management) and standardized test results that meet our current eligibility requirements (ACT composite of 21 or better, SAT total of 970 or better), she will be notified of an admission decision within two to four weeks after completing the application process.
