 Meet Taryn Sprankles, Admissions Communications Coordinator

My name is Taryn Sprankles and I am Cottey’s Admissions Communications Coordinator. I recently moved from Escondido, California, (where I worked as Cottey's regional admission representative), to Nevada, Missouri, where I now work on campus. My region includes Alabama, California, Florida , Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
I am originally from Southern California. I graduated from Cottey in 1993 and transferred to Oregon State University,
obtaining my bachelor’s degree in 1995. I worked in the Office of Enrollment Management at Cottey as an admission
representative and senior admission representative from 1995 to 2000, and have been working as a regional representative for
Cottey in California since 2002.
My Cottey experience as a student helped shaped who I am today. I continue to work for the College because I truly
believe that Cottey provides incomparable opportunities for young women, anticipating their future goals and needs in
