 Meet Whitney Jones, Senior Admission Representative

Howdy! My name is Whitney Jones and am glad that you have stopped by our Web site.
If you live in Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, or Wisconsin, then I am your Admission Representative. I began at Cottey in April 2005, and as a Cottey alumna, I am excited to be working at a place that I believe in so strongly.
I am a Washington state native with Pacific Northwest pride, but school and work have given me the opportunity to live
in several great places around our country. The first time that I lived outside of Washington was during my days as a
Cottey student. While at Cottey, I enjoyed having a active role in my education and in campus life. After graduating
from Cottey in 2001, I continued my education at Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Virginia. In 2003, I
graduated from R-MWC with a B.A. in sociology and anthropology. My first job after college was as an outdoor environmental
educator at a YMCA camp in Michigan. After short time back in Washington state, I moved to Missouri to join the Enrollment
Management staff.
I am excited that you are considering Cottey College! As a graduate of two women's colleges, I sincerely believe in
the unique learning environment that they foster. I hope that our Web site helps you to learn about all of the
