 Meet Angela Baumgardner, Admission Representative
Territory: Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.
Alma Mater: Cottey College 2006, Saint Cloud State University 2008
Major: Anthropology (Focus in both Cultural and Archaeological)
Campus Involvement: I participated in many events held by campus clubs such as BACCHUS and the Explorer's Club, but most of my free time went towards helping out the Food Service with special events, volunteering with local archaeological excavations, working, and of course…studying.
Hometown before Nevada, MO: St. Cloud, Minnesota
Favorite memory at Cottey: Moving into Santa Barbara Suite with my Dad. He made sure that I got off on the right foot with all of the other girls! My Dad was a hit!
Favorite place on Cottey Campus: Hinkhouse - you can do just about everything in that building!!
Favorite place in Nevada, MO: I love all of the lakes in the area - they are all great places to take my dogs on walks!
Favorite restaurant in Nevada, MO: Coffee Rush - not exactly a restaurant…but just as important!
Favorite movie: Nacho Libre - if you've seen the movie, then you know why!
Favorite food: I absolutely LOVE sticky rice - you can eat it with anything, anytime of the day!
Favorite Season: Autumn - not only because I love saying the word, but I think it's the most beautiful time of the year.
Hobbies: Spending time with my family (dogs included), being "Suzie Homemaker," reading cultural/educational literature (such as National Geographic), attempting to cook new recipes, walking with Betsy, enjoying nature and wildlife, planning dream vacations to exotic destinations and Disney World, listening to all sorts of music, and the list goes on!
