Hey!  My name is Betsy Miller, and I am the newest addition to the Enrollment Management office here at Cottey.  The region I cover includes: Missouri, Kansas, Delaware, Maryland, Washing D.C., Virginia, Wyoming, and Montana.

I came to Cottey in 2004 from Annapolis, Maryland, and became very involved with all of the activities Cottey offers.  I was active in SGA as the Robertson Hall Representative, swam for the Comets club Swim Team, joined Bacchus and Explorer’s Club, worked as a tele-recruiter, served as a 2005 Orientation Leader, and was the Dakota Suite Chair.

I graduated Cottey in 2006 with an Associate in Science degree.  After Cottey, I attended Pittsburg State University, and received many honors that I attribute to my great academic start at Cottey.  I graduated Pitt State May of 2008 with a B.S. in psychology and human resource management.  One month later, after finishing an internship with the Nevada / Vernon County Chamber of Commerce; I started working for Cottey as an admissions representative—and here I am!

I believe my success and the leadership skills that I possess today can be linked back to the education and experience that I received while at Cottey College.  I am a firm believer in Cottey, and think it is an unsurpassed educational facility with endless opportunities to shape young women into outstanding leaders.
