Megan McIntire Hello! I'm Megan McIntire and I am the Hall Director for Reeves Hall. This will be my third year and I'm looking forward to another great year!! I am a Cottey alum from the Class of 2003 and transferred to the University of Colorado at Denver. I graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in Psychology. I'm originally from Westminster, Colorado and come from a loud, large extended family who I love to tell stories about! In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies, writing letters, knitting, baking bread, scrapbooking and talking to friends. I have an open-door policy: if my door is open, I welcome your company - stop by anytime! I look forward to meeting all of you in August. Have a great summer! Resident Assistants

	Janaia Secrest Holden I'm from Seattle, Washington; a long ways away from home. I'm the second oldest daughter in my family. I have nothing but sisters. I like to dance and sing whenever I hear music. The entire student body knows when I'm heading their way. They can hear my beautiful voice from a mile away. Okay, maybe not beautiful. I plan on going to law school in the not-so-far future and becoming an entertainment and sports lawyer. A year ago when I was packing up my suitcases and preparing to come to Cottey I was extremely nervous. As said before, I'm a long way from home and I had never been to Missouri before. I had neither relatives nor friends in the area, and I hadn't even seen the campus before. But everything worked out great. I love it here! I couldn't have gotten luckier. 	Mary Arola Hey there!! My name is Mary Arola and I'm from a small town in Minnesota called Virginia. I'm going to be living in Ohio Suite on the second floor of Reeves next semester. I'm planning on getting my A.A. and A.S. at Cottey, and also plan on majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies. Dancing is my passion; I can't live without it. I was part of the Cottey Repertory Dance Company this year, and can't wait for it to start up again next year. Music is another thing I couldn't live without. I play the violin, piano, and sometimes I sing but I'm sort of shy about that. I like Jack Johnson in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon, and a good chick flick at night. 	Jessica Joseph My name is Jessica Joseph, but you can call me Jess or JJ. I was born in Van Nuys, California, but grew up in Reno, Nevada. I enjoy playing board games, video games, surfing the net, listening to music (there is never a moment when I'm not listening to music), bowling (it is a family sport and I have been a competitive bowler for six years), and spending time with friends and family. I love animals and wish to pursue a career involving animals. So I was preparing for Cottey back in October of 2008 while working on my first semester of college in Reno. I was feeling everything that probably anyone else would, from anxious, nervous, excited and scared because coming to Cottey is the furthest and longest time away from home I've ever been. Plus, it was sort of a spur of the moment thing; a friend told me she was attending Cottey so I decided to take a look. Once I saw everything Cottey had to offer, including classes in my major, I took the leap and sent in my paper work. And within a couple of months of applying and getting accepted I was off. I will be the resident assistant in Texas Suite on the third floor of Reeves Hall.

Suite Chairs

Your suite chair is a member of your suite, usually a second-year student, who has been elected by your suite to volunteer to coordinate activities and serve as a communication link between the campus community and the suite. She conducts suite meetings, shares information with the suite, and works with suitemates to delegate and coordinates suite responsibilities.
