Two Recent Signings for the 2008 Fall Season

Marla Kannady Foreman, head coach of the Cottey College Comets volleyball team, is pleased to annouce two recent signings for the 2008 fall season. Kaley Rogers, a middle hitter/outside hitter from Stockton High School in Stockton, Missouri, signed her letter of intent. Joining her will be Ashleigh Bryson, former Nevada Lady Tiger standout, who will be transferring from Ft. Scott Community College. Bryson will be joining former teammate Lindsey Webb who signed in February to play for the Comets.

These three will be joining recruits Chrissy Echeverria, an outside hitter from Casa Grande High School in Casa Grande, Arizona; and Janelle Crowell, a middle hitter/outside hitter from McCutcheon High School in Lafayette, Indiana. Returning players are Anna Cruse, Jesse Jargowsky, Lauren Jenkins, Carmen Kintz, and Lindsey Monceret.

The Comets will open their season on Saturday, August 30, with a home match against Ozark Christian College at 2 p.m. in the Hinkhouse Center gymnasium.
