Wow. The last day of classes. Hope everyone studied hard for those finals, got the yearbooks signed and made peace with the dean (just in case the grades weren't so hot). P.S. If you get to the mailbox before your kids do, they won't have to see your grades!
This class always had the lights out and a movie showing. The photographer decided to show this class doing what it does. This looked like a pretty cool movie with soldiers and action and stuff. We would have liked to have stayed around to see if there were terminators or zombies, but that Social Justice class was needing a photo too.
Every time the photographer walked by this class on Social Justice to try and take a photo, the lights were out and a video was playing. Trying to outsmart the class, the photographer showed up bright and early this morning and was greeted by Dr. Brenda Ross, "Oh, we were just getting ready to turn out the lights and watch another video." Ha. You have to get up pretty early in the morning to beat the photographer. Or maybe it should be you have to get up pretty early in the morning to get a photo of this class. Whatever it is, here's proof of the class in action.
Probably quite well if you took Karen Polon's gardening class. The class consults their master plan as they prepare to put their plants in the ground. To see their handiwork, visit the George Washburn Butterfly Garden which is immediately south of the gazebo outside of Robertson Hall.
Yet another class taht was always in the dark...showing movies, that is. This is Dr. Michael Emery's class titled Hollywood's Greatest Year. They focused on the movies of 1939, and did it without watching either Gone With the Wind or The Wizard of Oz.
Is that our fairy godmother with her magic wand? Will we get three wishes? Nope, it's just a participant in the British Royalty class showing how Helen Lodge ruled her class. (At least there was no coup at the end of the week.)
Here you are in all your glory. It was a gorgeous evening; the weather was wonderful; and everyone looked marvelous.
What a great week it has been! We certainly hope you have enjoyed your time here at Vacation College as much as we have. Come back next year, and bring a friend to class with you. Have a safe trip and do come back to visit your "alma mater" again.
