Admission to Cottey

Join us and be a Cottey Woman

If you're ready to grow intellectually and want to see the world, then you should definitely consider Cottey. Maybe more compelling is the fact that you'll be part of an amazing sisterhood of women that will be there for you not only while you're at Cottey but for a lifetime. If you're wondering if you can afford this experience, our answer is you won't find this value anywhere else. Not only are our tuition and fees reasonable, we also offer payment plans, make scholarships and grants available, and provide financial aid packages. In fact, about 97 percent of Cottey women receive some type of financial assistance.

What does it take to be a Cottey Woman?

First and foremost you have to apply. Your grade point average must be at least 2.6. You should have taken either the ACT and have a composite score of 21 or better or the SAT and have a composite score of 970 or better. If you're an international student there are some additional requirements.

We base admission to Cottey on four factors: your prior academic performance (G.P.A.), your academic aptitude (standardized tests); your likelihood for success (our own formula), and on when we receive your application. Enrollment at Cottey is limited, so the sooner we get your application the better - shoot for before our priority deadline of December 1st.

Meet Us In Person

This website is chock full of great information about us. But the best way to know what the Cottey experience is like is to come for a visit. After all, seeing is believing. If you can't visit in person, check out our virtual tour and, better yet, chat with your admission representative, who'll answer all your questions and get you started on the admission process.
