The Cottey Factor
Chances are you heard about Cottey from someone who is an
alumnae or a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood (more on that in a

P.E.O.s
Perhaps an even greater force than our alumnae are the some
250,000 members of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, the Philanthropic
Educational Organization that owns Cottey College. These
women are committed to the cause of furthering education among
women and are actively committed to the advancement of women in the
workforce and in life. They are so passionate about the
cause, they go out of their way to make students feel at home at
Cottey. In fact, each of Cottey's residential suites is
endowed by a state chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, a group of
state chapters, or an individual donor.
