Cottey College, a small liberal arts and sciences college for women, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in rhetoric and composition, starting August 2018. Teaching load typically includes four courses each semester, including first-year writing courses; each composition class is capped at 15. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in college teaching and a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition (ABD with firm defense date considered). We are looking for individuals who can immediately contribute to our developing Writing Minor, with a demonstrated ability to teach rhetoric, first-year writing, and/or creative writing courses. Environmental Studies

The successful candidate will have broad training in Environmental Studies with demonstrated interest in college teaching and developing hands on field related courses. Head Golf Coach

Cottey College is seeking a head golf coach for its inaugural season of competition. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a competitive golf program, including budgeting, recruiting, and coaching female student athletes. This job is part time with the possibility of being full time. Full time status would be dependent on the successful candidates experience and would be combined with another job on campus.
